First Thought

You are my first thought when I open my eyes in the morning.
It is you I think of when I wake up.

Will I see you today?
Will we walk in the park like we did yesterday?
Will we sail one of those boats in the lake
and fall into the water again?
Or will you take me on a bicycle ride in the countryside?
What dress shall I wear for you?
The green one with flowers and thin straps?
The one you like so much?
What will you wear?
The light blue t-shirt?
The one I like so much?

Will we undress,
touch, caress?
Will we lay down in a field of clovers?
Will we make love under the elms,
like we did yesterday?

You are my first waking thought...
It is time to get up now.
